Punchlist

Terms of service

Punchlist is operated by DENT Studios. Last updated 10 October 2026.

These terms are the agreement between you and DENT Studios for using Punchlist (punchlistio.com). By creating an account you accept them. How personal data is handled is in the privacy policy.

  1. 1. The service

Punchlist gives each app you build a board where design tweaks, features and bugs are tracked; a gate that refuses moves which lack what the board's rules require; a way for AI agents to work the board through the Model Context Protocol; a public page where an app's users can send feedback; and What's new emails to the people who asked for what shipped. We may improve, change or remove features; if a change takes away something a paid plan relies on, we will tell you first.

  2. 2. Your account

Keep your account details accurate and your password and agent tokens to yourself: a token works like a password for the agent that holds it. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including what the agents you connect do there. You can revoke an agent at any time from the Rules page. You must be at least 16 to use Punchlist.

  3. 3. Your content

What you and your teammates put into Punchlist stays yours. You let us store, copy, process and display it as needed to run the service for you, including showing on a board's public page what its owner chooses to publish there.

You are responsible for that content and for having the right to put it in Punchlist. If you share a public feedback page, the names and emails people send through it are yours to use within the law; Punchlist sends What's new emails to them only when you publish an entry.

  4. 4. Agents

When you connect an agent, you authorise it to read and change your boards with your access, inside your workspace. Its actions count as yours. The agent's provider is a third party: we are not responsible for what it does with what it reads, or for its availability.

  5. 5. Acceptable use

    • No unlawful content, and nothing that infringes someone else's rights.
    • No spam through public feedback pages or What's new emails.
    • No attempts to reach another workspace's data, to get around rate limits, or to disrupt the service for others.
    • No reselling access to Punchlist without our written agreement.
  6. 6. Plans and payment

The plans and prices are on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, through Stripe, in US dollars, plus any tax that applies, and renew each month until cancelled. You can cancel in Settings under Manage billing; the plan stays until the end of the month you paid for, then the workspace moves to Free.

Payments are not refunded for part of a month, except where the law requires it. We will give at least 30 days' notice before a price change affects a plan you are on.

  7. 7. Ending

You can delete a workspace at any time in Settings; it is removed seven days later unless you cancel, and you can download everything in it first. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it; where we can, we will give you the chance to download your data first.

  8. 8. No warranty

Punchlist is provided as it is and as available. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, or that its gates will catch every problem in work an agent reports as done.

  9. 9. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, DENT Studios is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data, and its total liability for any claim about Punchlist is limited to the greater of what you paid for Punchlist in the twelve months before the claim and 100 US dollars.

  10. 10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Spokane County, Washington, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them elsewhere.

  11. 11. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the new version appears here with a new date, and workspace owners get an email before a change that matters takes effect. Using Punchlist after that date means accepting the new terms.
